The 4th of July is upon us...woo woo...or not! Happy Birfday Amerika...celebrating the freedom the citizens have or don't have..
As I said alot of change is occuring...katia left me on Monday, I had to work that day so I left and when I returned hesistantly to the apt I walked into my echo. It's funny what life gives me. Part of me thought awwww yea the apt to myself for a month. Not soo much, its empty, a lonely sense as I walked through the 5 rooms. The only room that went untouched was my bedroom of course...and what remains in the living room; my blue Ikea couch, my tv that now sits on the floor and next to my tv are a few of my dvd's, my cd cases and a few VHS's randomly laid out on the floor as well and lastely my small stereo. *sigh* It's empty...it's me...me and alone dont do too well together.
Going to try and keep ME occupied while in this apt Alone for the month of July.

Oh the things my ears have had to hear. I don't know why I am soo surprised with my mouth open in astonishment...
1 - attended a birthday party....and asked the guy who had been manning the grill to throw me a Beef Hot Dog on the grill next to the garden burgers, the chicken skewers, the turkey burgers as I was craving my beef fix. *lol* His response - "what do I look like, Kunta Kintay?" (ok mind the spelling as I never thought to know how to spell this word)
But Ok - last time I checked you were a white boy and last time I checked slaves no longer existed and...let me stop! I said oh forget and made my way upstairs as to avoid my friends fren for the rest of the nite and attempted to not let it get to me.
2 - Ol' man at the bar who thought he could impress me with his Dances with Wolves Knowledge....Kevin who......Cheyenne language..huh what! ive seen ol man' since that happening and he won't look my way...GOOOD!
3 - calling a girl Iyesha because you think every black girls name on the block is Iyesha! Nice try - the Italian boy got his ass beat last nite!
I really thought people would be more open minded out here on the East Coast compared to the midwest...i assumed wrong, very wrong! People out here are just as ignorant as everyone else.
